Our aim is to bring the community together through creative musical experiences including workshops and performances. All of the team at Melody Makers have a folk and Celtic Music background in music so we offer specialised workshops in Ceilidh / set dancing and instrumental music workshops learning the fiddle, banjo, mandolin, accordion, tin whistle and flute - Celtic/ folk style.
Melody Makers currently have funding from the Big Lottery for one year to run a community music project and provide instrumental tuition workshops for adults and children to learn the fiddle and tin whistle. These classes are supported by Melrose Hall in Hoylake, Wirral where the classes take place every Wednesday.
