About Melody Makers

Melody Makers is a Wirral based company that was set up in 2009 by Jo Pue Richards, a Professional Musician and performer from the Wirral. Melody Makers is a small, exciting, energetic and determined local business that creates fun and exciting music projects, collaborative workshops and performance events in schools, community and arts venues across the region employing the most talented professional freelance musicians and artists from the local area.   Melody Makers has developed gradually since 2009 starting with Early Years projects funded by Sure Start which  lead to bigger projects working in Primary schools funded by the Wirral Borough Council extended schools programme and various other funding schemes.  Melody Makers now offers music classes across the board from Early Years to 99 years, working in primary and secondary schools and in the local community.
